Sunday School (8:45 every Sunday)
Sunday School is a very important environment for students as they learn and grow in the Lord. We will be using material named Fuel2: Owning Your Faith, provided by Lifeway, as our Curriculum. This material guides youth through a systematic, yet highly innovative study of the key doctrines of the faith. Fuel2 asks 96 key doctrinal questions from the nature of God to the doctrine of end times. Each doctrinal question was written from the perspective of a teen who is seeking answers. I feel as though our teachers can potentially learn as much from this series as our youth. Students from 6th-12th grade will all meet together in the youth area for a time of fellowship and praise. We will discuss the topic of the day before leaving for application study time in their classrooms.
Discipleship Training (5:30-6:15 pm every Sunday)
This session is all about learning how to put what the students are learning to use. This will be an activity based training session that will focus on serving God. They will learn things like how to pray, how to witness, how to visit, etc. Students can find their area of service through this time.
After Glows (after evening service every other Sunday)
After a long day of work serving and worshiping the Lord, this time is dedicated to just having fun and hanging out and spending time in fellowship together. We will find a place to go whether it is in the fellowship hall or an offsite location. These times will be every other Sunday and we will have something planned for these times and listed in advance.
Monday Night Visitation (7:00-until pm every Monday)
The best people to help in growth of the Youth Ministry are the students themselves. This time is dedicated to direct outreach in the community by going out and witnessing to and visiting with potential prospects. Youth are invited every week to join with the adult leaders to go out and find others to join the body of believers.
Praise Band Practice (5:30-6:15 pm every Wednesday)
Anyone who has a musical talent and would like to be part of our youth praise band is welcome to attend practice on Tuesday nights. We use this time to go over songs of the week for our E.M.S. Training.
E.M.S. Training (6:30-until pm every Wednesday)
E.M.S. Training (Equipping Minds for Service) is an inductive Bible and theology session held every Wednesday night. Our students will dive deep into God’s Word to find the truth that is found in every line of scripture. This class is taught at a high level as we will be discussing the minor details of the scriptures. It is very important that every student bring their text book (BIBLES) and notepads with them every week for this study. Come join us as we attentively study God’s Word.
First Wednesday Fun Night (6:30-until pm first Wednesday of every month)
This is our fun and games night held on the first Wednesday of every month. We will have something planned whether it is a game or maybe a band to play in concert. This time is dedicated for outreach so the students can invite their friends to come and have fun and hear the Gospel presented.
