Testimony;

I have been church all of my life and went forward at a young age to be saved, or thought I was.  My life did not reflect His life during my teen years and my relationship with Him was nothing.

After I was married, I started taking a Bible study during the week and I had to write my testimony.  It took me two weeks to write it.  I could never get past the point of “When I was saved…..”  One Sunday the pastor was preaching on the wheat and tares and it dawned on me, you are a tare and you need to ask Jesus into your heart.  I went forward that morning and settled the issue.  That afternoon, I sat down and finished my testimony with ease because I knew that I was now a child of the King.

Life hasn’t been easy but Jesus has been faithful and is sweeter than He has ever been and I’m sure will continue to get sweeter.  I can’t imagine life without Him and I want to become more like Him each day.  My favorite verse is “I am crucified with Christ and it is no longer I who live but Christ who lives within me and the life I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in Son of God who loves me and gave Himself up for me.” Galatians 2:20
